50 years ago on this date in 1967, three American Astronauts of Apollo 1 died in a flash fire during a test for a future space flight the following month. Despite their deaths, they managed to help make the Apollo spacecraft safer and their deaths were not in vain as we managed to make it to the moon in their memory and sacrifice.

Yeah, last time that was tried...it didn't end well for those who tried to break away from the union. The states (aka the ones that formed the Confederacy) that tired to become a separate nation caused the American Civil War and ended up losing badly. This attempt will fail badly and if they try to succeed, they will face a hopeless war against the rest of the nation that has access to more resources than that puny state of California.
